The success of current college students depends heavily on the evolution of educators’ teaching methodologies. Educators should adapt to different learning styles and personality types. The goal of this educational session is to provide faculty participants with various classroom engagement tools that they can use to enhance student knowledge retention and performance. Participants will actively experience some of these tools and evaluate their effectiveness based on their individual personality types. Participants will learn how students’ personality types may affect their preferences for certain engagement tools based on research that was IRB-approved.

Identify various classroom engagement tools that are accessible for educators to utilize in their teaching.
Distinguish between students’ learning style preferences in relation to personality types.
List teaching strategies to implement in the classroom.
