The School of Dentistry at OHSU promotes opportunities for students to nurture an innovation mindset and develop tools for creative problem solving, business operations and equity and inclusion. Students at OHSU have worked together to start and run a dental clinic for the homeless community, tackle big problems in fast-paced and fun hackathon-style workshops and develop programs for equity and inclusion. Students gain experience that empowers them to manage clinical operations, contribute to solving challenging problems and lead within their dental community and beyond. This session provides examples for you to consider and replicate within your program.
